Who We Are
LumaDent, Inc was formed in 2009 with one goal – affordable lighting solutions for dental/medical professionals.
During the last few years, I have been working with a colleague in search for the next-generation LED dental headlight. One day, I was reading an interesting thread on Dental Town by Dr. Mike Scoles – LED Lenser H7 Head Mounted Light – DIY, then I said to myself, I could make an Orange Filter for it. Once the Orange Filters were done, then the rechargeable battery packs to prolong the usage of the Lenser H7 were added. The mounting brackets for different types of loupes and frames were later added to complete the DIY project.
Today, LumaDent is proud to provide a complete solution to illuminate the oral cavity. With the advanced, custom-made optical lens, we are able to shrink the LED headlamp to become one of the smallest headlamps on the market. The small size of our headlamp reduces the weight and provides extra comfort to the users. Our main goal remains the same – affordable lighting solutions for dental/medical professionals.
