Who We Are
Oral and maxillofacial surgery requires additional years of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training after graduation from dental school. Our doctors manage a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth and facial regions. Our surgeons practice a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from dental extractions, the removal of difficult or impacted teeth (wisdom teeth), the placement of dental implants, the treatment of dental and skeletal deformities (orthognathic surgery), the surgical management of temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMJ), the treatment of cleft lip and cleft palate conditions, facial and jaw reconstruction procedures and care for other oral diseases (pathology) and aesthetic concerns of the oral and maxillofacial region and related structures.
