We Are 60

Since 1952, Germiphene has set a standard of excellence in the manufacture and distribution of products for the health care industry. Germiphene began with 10 people and 2000 square feet. We are now proudly over 100 dedicated employees in a 50,000 square foot facility, celebrating our 60th successful year.

We Are Specialists

Sixty years of infection control – need we say more? Germiphene also has an extensive Oral Health Care line, including fluorides, varnish, rinses and topical anesthetics. Our Hand Care creams, gels, foam and soaps not only protect you from bacteria, but from damaging your skin. We stock a variety of essential Single Use items such as dental dams, gloves, masks and other stuff you use–n–toss. We are not a large dealer that stocks thousands of products, but we stock a unique product mix containing the right specialists and professionals to provide quality and value versus quantity.

We Are Professionals

Our team contains specialized members from diverse backgrounds, including, microbiologists, chemists, formulators, compounders, quality control and assurance experts, regulators, logistics and packaging experts, sales and marketing, customer service and educating support. On their own, our specialists are great, as a team, we are able to offer you all our expertise rolled up in a complete package.

We Are Canadian

Germiphene is Canadian owned and operated, and family oriented. Current CEO, Leslie Drake grew up in her mother’s company, before taking the reins more than 20 years ago.

We Are Responsible

Germiphene is ISO (International Organization for Standardization) Certified, which means we have a Quality Management System (QMS) in place to achieve both customer satisfaction and effective quality by continuously improving ourselves. We are also a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) compliant facility. GMP ensures that products are consistently produced and controlled to the quality standards required for their intended use. This system encompasses all aspects from the organization structure, procedures, process and resources. We have registered products with Health Canada, Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and other regulatory bodies in countries such as Australia and New Zealand.

Our Research & Development, and Microbiology labs are continuously working to improve our products, and formulate new products that meet your changing needs. We create solutions that are safe for you, your clients and our environment.

Germiphene makes what it sells, so we set the standard for quality right here in the building. We understand what it takes to make your products, starting from choosing the best raw ingredients to thoroughly testing every finished batch before it reaches you.

We Are Exporters

After our great success in distributing Germiphene products across Canada via our 20 sales representatives, we decided to export worldwide. Some destinations include Australia, China, Hong Kong, Latvia, Lebanon, Malaysia, New Zealand, Poland, Russia, South Africa, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, and United Kingdom…just to list a few.
