From the initial contact until the next dental visit, we do all we can to make sure the needs and expectations of our patients are met.
All our Able dentists handle everything from root canals and extractions to crowns. If you are searching for a family dental office, think Able Dental Group. With our multiple dental practices, we might well have a location near you.
The Able Dental Group is honoured to work with dentists and specialists throughout British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan.
I’m Dr. Bryan Murray. I have been in dental practice since 1987 as a general dentist providing dental surgery and dental implants. One of my current priorities is to provide 24-hour emergency care and treatment of toothache pain, broken teeth and facial injuries in our dental emergency room.
At Able Dental Group, we accept new and emergency patients daily. If you are afraid of going to the dentist then our General Anesthetic, IV Sedation and Sleep Dentistry options may be perfect for you.
Our facility is an accredited non-hospital surgical facility and was established in 1990. It is approved by the Alberta Dental Association and College and the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta. All general anesthetic services are provided on-site by a board-certified anesthesiologist from the Chinook Regional Hospital. We work closely with dentists and specialists in all of southern Alberta to achieve your dental goals.
My personal hope is that patients appreciate my easy going, caring and personal bedside manner. I truly enjoy life and live it to the fullest.
I’m Dr. Dan Anderson. Ever since I grew up in Magrath, Alberta, I have wanted to be a dentist. It’s fitting that I now get to spend my days at my dream job caring for families in the Lethbridge and Magrath area.
I graduated high school in Magrath and attended dental school at the University of Alberta. While studying there, I took an interest in children’s dentistry.
My wife Tara, and I have four children Devon, Megan, Braden and Ethan. We are actively involved in our community. Tara and I stay busy driving the kids to all of their sporting events. I personally enjoy being outdoors and participating in all kinds of water sports.
No matter who my patients may be, whether young or old, I always aim to provide the best care I can.
I’m Dr. Jan Lavkulik. I was born and raised in Lethbridge, Alberta. After high school, I attended SAIT and obtained a diploma in medical laboratory technology. I had a brief career as a lab tech, but decided that dentistry was my true passion, so I attended the University of Alberta and eventually graduated from the faculty of dentistry.
Upon graduation, I worked in Sherwood Park as a general dentist, but after four years I relocated to my home town of Lethbridge and have been in the same location since 1997. Although a general dentist, I have a special interest in children’s dentistry.
When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Daren and our three children. I also enjoy reading and sewing.
I’m Dr. Alan Bourne. I have a long career in dentistry which began when I graduated from the University of Missouri at Kansas City Dental School in 1972. After graduation, I spent three years in the U.S. Navy where I had the opportunity to rotate through many dental specialties.
In 1976, I purchased my own dental practice. After 34 years, I joined the Able Dental Group in April 2010 in their Lethbridge office. I was given the opportunity to practise in Able Dental Magrath, as I wind down and prepare for retirement. I really enjoy working in the smaller community office. Every day I utilize my experience in fulfilling the wants, needs and requirements of my patients.
Over the years, I have been involved with the Lethbridge & District Dental Society. I have also enjoyed coaching high school basketball and playing golf.
I’m Dr. Scott ZoBell. I grew up in Raymond, Alberta and began my dental career when I graduated from the University of Alberta Dental School in 2005. Previous to that, I had attended the University of Lethbridge working towards a degree in Biochemistry. After graduating from dental school, I worked in Calgary for a while. Then, in October 2010, I returned to the Lethbridge area and was so excited to be given the opportunity to be a part of the Able Dental family.
When I am not at work, I love spending time with my family and I enjoy most sports, especially basketball. My family includes my wife, Tanya, and my 4 children Madison, Emily, Boston and Presley.
I enjoy all aspects of dentistry, and I strive to make your trip to the dentist as comfortable as possible. I look forward to promoting good dental health in our community.
I’m Dr. Mark Still. I was born and raised on a ranch in Mountain View, Alberta, and although I enjoyed life on the farm, from a young age, I knew I wanted to be a dentist. I think it was because of my good experiences with my own dentist and orthodontist.
I attended High School in Cardston, and then I attended the University of Alberta in Edmonton where I received a Bachelor of Science degree before being accepted into the dental program there.
I graduated from the dental program in 2011, and since that time, I have been working in Lethbridge and at the Able Dental Group Crowsnest in Blairmore. My staff and I hope to provide the best possible care for you and your family and I hope to give every patient a positive experience.
I have a wife, Lindsay, and three children, and when I am not working, we enjoy travelling, camping and being outdoors.
I’m Dr. Trevor Hay. I was born, raised and educated in Calgary. After a year at Royal Roads Military College in Victoria, I switched to the University of Calgary to complete a Bachelor of Science before heading to Edmonton for my Doctor of Dental Surgery. I have been married to my wife Margaret since 1968, and we are blessed with three children and 11 wonderful grandkids.
We have always made sports and outdoor activities a big part of our lives, including hiking, camping, golfing, fishing, horseback riding, mountain biking and much travelling. Thirty-four years ago, we were driving through the Crowsnest Pass when we said to each other, “let’s stop and see what this place has to offer.”
We liked what we saw, moved our family, got a house and built a dental office. We continue to love it here, and I thoroughly enjoy my dental practice, patients and staff. Margaret and I have devoted many hours to volunteer activities and feel a strong, passionate commitment to the community.
I’m Dr. Jodi Monaghan. I began my career in Edmonton with a diploma in dental hygiene in 1983, followed by a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Alberta in 1989. I then made Lethbridge home and have practised here since 1988.
During my career, I have developed a special interest in cosmetic dentistry and creating beautiful smiles. I spend a considerable amount of time away on continuing education courses to keep abreast of the latest science and technology in the world of dentistry. My areas of interest include smile makeovers, single-visit restorations, and all of the unique and diverse procedure that can be done with a laser.
I take pride in offering my clientele a comfortable and pleasant experience. My priority is to provide individualized, thorough and comprehensive care for my patients. I often volunteer time to under-serviced areas of the world; I recently donated dental aid in Haiti after the earthquake and in Cambodia through the organization Kindness in Action. I look forward to my next dental mission.
I enjoy being with my three children, Kiera, Liam and Aidan. In my spare time, I enjoy golfing and running the summer and skiing in the winter.
I’m Dr. Kendall James. In 2006, I graduated from the University of Lethbridge, Alberta with a Bachelor of Science, Majoring in Neuroscience. I received my dental degree from the University of Sydney, Australia and during my final year, I was the student body president.
After completing my dental education in Sydney, I worked in private practice in Tropical Queensland, Australia. We returned to North America in 2011 to be closer to my extended family and to pursue a residency in Prosthodontics at the University of Minnesota. When I’m not in the clinic, I can be can be found spending time with my Wife, three daughters, and my son, mostly outdoors.
I chose the specialty of Prosthedontics (advanced restorative dental treatment), because during the early stages of my career, as a general dentist, I realized there was a need for complex treatment care. Patient care is my primary concern and offering treatment solutions with predictable long term and cost effective results. I look forward to meeting you.
