Dr. Todd Sheppard
Todd Sheppard began practicing general family dentistry in Chinook Centre in 1996. Born in Red Deer Alberta, Todd later moved to Winnipeg and completed his dental degree at the University of Manitoba. In 1995, he returned to Calgary to start a practice and a family.
Dr. Sheppard sensed an increasing trend toward large corporate dental offices and endeavoured to provide the opposite. Focused on preventative and restorative dentistry, Todd is committed to keeping a small office with a small staff that is able to develop a personal connection to you. Trust and compassion are often lost in the large impersonal dental offices. His practice was built on personal relationships and open lines of communication, not advertising.
Dr. Sheppard and his staff will always take the time to fully explain all the benefits and risks of every treatment option so you can make the best choices. Once the decision to pursue treatment has been made, virtually all of your dentistry can be completed in our office by one practitioner in a timely manner and comfortable atmosphere.
Outside of the office, Todd has an interest in providing dental care in under developed parts of the world. At home, he is married with three children and enjoys travelling, downhill skiing, hiking, and discovering new books.
