Dr. Brian Goldenberg

Dr Brian Goldenberg graduated from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 1976 with a B.A. in Philosophy & Sociology. He has over 29 years of experience in dentistry for both adults and children, having graduated from UBC Dental School in 1982. Dr Goldenberg gained experience in several different dental offices before taking over this West Broadway dental office in 1985. He is married with 3 adult children. Because of his passion for dentistry and in order to maintain a high calibre of modern, updated dentistry, he participates regularly in a Crown and Bridge study club and a Dental Implant study club. He is a member of the Vancouver and District Dental society, the Canadian Adademy of Restorative Dentistry and Prosthodontics, the Canadian Dental Association and the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity. Dr Goldenberg also regularly enhances his continuing dental education via conventions and other courses. When away from the office, he loves skiing, biking, swimming, and traveling.

Family or General Dentistry:
Preventive:

dental hygiene (cleaning)
sealants (protective coating)

Restorative:

fillings (composite, gold or porcelain)
crowns, inlays or onlays (gold, porcelain, or composite)
bridges (to replace missing teeth)- utilizing implants or natural teeth

Removable prosthetics:

complete dentures (acrylic)
removable partial dentures (acrylic or metal with acrylic)

Root canal therapy:

removing the infected pulp, then cleaning out, disinfecting and filling the canals of the tooth

Implants:

titanium implants and grafting procedures provided to replace missing teeth

Oral Surgery:

extractions (atraumatic technique)
socket preservation

Periodontal:

preventive approach for maintaining healthy gums
scaling, root planing, polishing, oral hygiene instruction/aids
crown lengthening

TMJ/bite:

diagnosis and treatment of temporomandibular joint or bite problems

Dental Emergencies:

For our patients/referred patients, we try to provide same day emergency service for fractured teeth, severe pain/swelling, crowns that come out, or for traumatic dental injuries such as during sports.
